MY READING of APPEAL to HINDU SADHUS By Prof. ASNANI
Thanks for sending this views of Prof. Asnani, who was at United Nations.
Prof. Asnani’s deep study of Hindu Books, and then euqually deep study of Christianity & Islam makes him a qualified scholar to express his views.
The study of all the Religions was prompted by the question : Why there are inter-religion conflicts in this World ?
Even as we are all made to believe that “All Religions teach the same”his basic observation was that while Hinduism or the Sanatan Dharma teaches to be tolarent to other Religions, the other Religions ( namely Christianity & Islam) unfortunately directly or indirectly advance the feelings of the hatred towards others who do not believe in their Spiritual thought.
Prof. Asnani explores the present day conflicts in India & concluded that they are rooted in the influence of the teachings of Christianity & Islam. While Islam openly declares that the “non believers are condemned” and opens the doors for the “Jihad” & the Chritianity convinces the “non believers to the Conversion to their Faith “.
After his deep study of all religions, Prof. Asnani, advices the Hindu Sadhus & Saintly Persons not to speak on behalf of “Christianity or Islam” by the Slogans of “Universal Brotherhood” and thus misguide the Hindus and thus leading to the “blind eye” to the conversion of the Hindus to other Religions & their way of thinking.
Prof. Asnani goes on further to furnish his claims of Christianity & Islam by various other “concepts” in teachings of these religions which the “founding principle” via Jesus or Prophet Mohammad. These rules seem to “constrict” the Spiritual message as those who do follow can only get the Salvation while the non-believers are deprived of that reward. In contrast, Hindu Philosophy is “open” to all & had no boundaries.
After the deep analytical review of this topic, Prof. Asnani raised a question :Will Sanatan Dharma win ?
In the answer to this question, Prof. Asnari concluded that Sanatan Dharma based on the Universal Foundation will prevail while the other Philosophies with the narrow views will die over the passage of the time.
After, such a strong belief, Prof. Asnari make an appeal to the Sadhus & Saintly Persons of the Hindu Faith to remail “united & strong” and be guided bt this rich old philosophy and doing so, India (better Bharat) will be a leader & the Guide to All in the World for the Spiritual Path of the Future.
Having read the “Analytical Report”of Prof. Asnari, I am very much impressed & congratulate him for making a “bold” statements without the fears. This Report is worth reading by all persons of the different Faiths.
I ONLY add the following :
The Spiritual Path is a vehicle to UNDERSTAND & REACH the DIVINE who is ONE & THE SAME for All. Sanatan Dharma is the “OLDEST” and it is not based on a Teaching of ONE Person but it is based on the deep Philosophical Reasonings of MANY. I believe the OTHER Human Philosophical Thoughts either via Jesus or Prophet Mohammad must have “some values”which are common to all mankind….that being, we as HUMANS are ALL CHILDREN of GOD. Let us all focus on this and be as ONE MANKIND. Then & then, there will be the TOLERANCE towards OTHER RELIGIONS & not a RUSH for the CONVERSION,which only fuels the idea that “ONE PATH is BETTER than the OTHER”. Thus, we can be TRUE Christian, Muslim or Hindu or even of “any other Faith” and live in Peace on this Earth.

Today’s Post of “CHANDRAVICHARDHARA (10)” and the Topic for Discussion is WHY DIFFERENT RELIGIONS IN THE WORLD ? Even if MANY, then why to attain ONE ( GOD) there are FIGHTS in the MANKIND ?.
This is a SIMPLE QUESTION….often the LOGICAL ANSWER is there should be NO FIGHTS, but the REALITY is that the PATH on which he/she following is the RIGHT PATH & this “predetermined notion” leads to the conflicts between the different religious paths.
What is the SOLUTION ?
Your input is requested . I had expressed MY VIEW…you may agree or disagree, but please say something without fears.
